About
Research Funding Atlas helps researchers in any country, discipline and career stage find research funding, small grants, fellowships, prizes and challenges, and compute / API credit programmes — and understand deadlines and eligibility.
How we show time
- Exact times and hour-level countdowns appear only when the source states both a time and a time zone.
- Date-only deadlines show "Deadline: YYYY-MM-DD, exact time to be confirmed". We never invent 23:59.
- AoE (UTC−12) is used only when the source says AoE.
- Rolling programmes show "Rolling". Monthly/quarterly review dates are not deadlines.
- For multi-stage calls (EOI/LOI → full proposal), once an earlier stage has closed we say the next stage is for invited applicants only.
- When a date has passed in every time zone we say "date passed — status not yet confirmed", not "closed by the funder".
How we show eligibility
The eligibility check uses explainable rules only: what you meet, what you do not meet, and what needs checking. Missing information is never treated as "not eligible". Funder country, institution country, nationality, residence, where the work happens and service availability are separate fields. Your profile stays in your browser and is never added to shared links.
Sources and privacy
Every public record links to an official page. Private leads (e.g. university mailing lists or internal spreadsheets) are used only for private verification and are never published. No ad tracking. Sponsored slots are off by default; if enabled they are clearly labelled and never change the natural ranking.
Data collection
We read official APIs and public pages at low frequency, respect robots.txt and terms of use, and never bypass logins, CAPTCHAs or access controls.
